Mebeverine HCl
Indications/Uses
Symptomatic treatment of abdominal pain & cramps, bowel disturbances & intestinal discomfort related to irritable bowel syndrome. Treatment of GI spasm secondary to organic diseases.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Tab Adult & childn >10 yr 1 tab tid. Cap 1 cap bid, morning & evening.
Administration
Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 20 min before meals. Swallow w/ at least 100 mL water, do not chew/crush.
Contraindications
Special Precautions
Colofac: Hepatic & renal impairment, cardiac disorders eg, heart block. Cystic fibrosis, porphyria. Lactose, galactose & fructose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption; sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency. Pregnancy & lactation.
